Baudrillard’s Simulacrum
The installation features an open cube with mirrors as inside faces, creating a space where users can see their own reflections but never truly know what is happening behind the mirror.
By creating a space that is constantly reflecting the outside world, a more realistic illusion is rendered.
The vibrant-colored threads, connected by points diagonally aligned on the vertical mirrors, create an interesting optical effect that changes depending on the angle audience view it from. Whether looking at the installation from the front or side, one will be able to see a different image every time.
