Why Manifesto?

Manifesto is a game designed to guide players to resolve an unknown mystery through their interaction with Fluxus multiples.

With a progressive degree of Fluxus style interactions, the goal of this game is to introduce the Fluxus attitude and how Fluxus artists approach their creations, pioneering a concept of art education through games.

01 | What is Fluxus?

Fluxus is an art movement promoting the state of flowing, the constant dissection and fusion of ideas and matters.

02 | The Narratives

The game starts with the encounter of a mystery, which unfolds itself through the game as an unsolved murder case..

03 | Stages

The game starts with the encounter of a mystery, which unfolds itself through the game as an unsolved murder case..

With a total number of 10 stages, each stage features a detective narrative that revolves around their unique fluxus objects (multiples).

Stage 1 | The Dark-lit Room

As the introductory stage, The Dark-lit Room familiarizes the players with the objectives of each stage - to uncover the storyline through completing local task using designated fluxus objects.

Objects: Three Lamp Event, Total Art Match-Box.

In this stage, the featured fluxus objects are Three Lamp Event (1963) by George Brecht and Total Art Match Box (1965) by Ben Vautier.

Stage 2 | The Pink Elevator

Stage 2 unlocks when the player completes stage 1. Visually and spatially teleporting the player to a pink elevator, stage 2 features Same Card Flux Deck (1969) by George Maciunas and Robert Filliou’s attempt to materialize space and wavelength using a deck of cards.

Stage 10 | The Revelation

Stage 10 is the final stage, The Revelation, dymistifying the unsolved murder case.
